Lyndhurst, 3 New Street, is a traditionally constructed Norfolk brick and flint property in the heart of Sheringham. Only 100 yards from the high street and a further few hundred yards to the sea (3-4 minutes walk), it is ideally situated.

The property was purchased by us in 2005 and has since been extensively renovated including installation of a brand new kitchen and cloakroom and landscaping of the garden. This has all been done carefully with a view to retaining the seaside feel of the property so don’t be surprised to see the odd piece of driftwood or selection of shells around.
The property is over three floors comprising a ground floor of a hall with a large lounge diner off to the left which leads into the kitchen and the access via the kitchen to the garden. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and sink off the hall. The first floor has two good sized double bedrooms along with a large family bathroom which contains a separate electric shower. The top floor has two bedrooms, one with a single and a bunk bed and the other with a single bed and a cot. Outside is a small garden with a grassed area leading to a large patio. There is also a very useful covered seating area with its own wood burner stove to keep you warm on those late summer evenings.
We have particularly set the property up to be family friendly and can highly recommend it to families. We ourselves have three children of 5 and under and they love their time there. As well as providing a cot and the bunk beds, there are extensive numbers of books and games (both adult and children’s) along with a large selection of videos and DVDs for both children and adults. In addition to the TV and video/DVD in the lounge, there are TV’s available in one bedroom on both the upper floors.
Note also that the property has Gas Central Heating and a woodburner in the dining room for those chilly winter nights. No extra charges are levied for electricity or gas usage. From 1st November 2007 we will provide bed linen but only on request and a small tariff will be charged for this service (see rates page). We ask guests to provide all their own towels and tea towels.
